Kanahiya Overseas Pvt. Ltd.

13 April 2024

On April 13th, Eye Care Equality hosted its eighth event at Kanahiya Overseas in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where we extended our compassionate services to 106 blue-collar workers and with that, we have completed the 2000 worker mark.

At this uplifting event, our team of doctors and volunteers held free eye check-up camps at Kahahiya Overseas, diagnosing previously unnoticed vision issues. This was a key step toward empowering the labor force, ensuring they could work safely and efficiently. The day was filled with smiles, gratitude and improved vision, giving these individuals a brighter, more secure future.

We tested 106 blue-collar workers and found out that a total of 23 workers needed reading glasses which were provided for free and 30 workers were prescribed distance glasses. We also provided 15 eye drops for workers who complained about redness or itchiness in their eyes.

We are truly grateful to our donors! It would not have been possible without your support.

Eye Care Equality remains committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of daily wage laborers, one event at a time.
