Eye Care Equality

On October 27th, Eye Care Equality hosted its maiden event at Henna Industries in Faridabad, Haryana, where we extended our compassionate services to 100 blue-collar workers.

At this heartwarming gathering, our dedicated team of doctors and volunteers conducted free eye check-up camps, diagnosing and addressing vision issues that had often gone unnoticed. This event at Henna Industries was a significant step toward our mission of empowering the labor force and ensuring they can work safely and efficiently. It was a day filled with smiles, gratitude, and improved vision, offering these individuals a brighter and more secure future.

We tested 100 blue-collar workers and found out that 90% needed eye care services. A total of 33 workers needed reading glasses which were provided for free and 35 workers were prescribed distance glasses. We also provided 25 eye drops for workers who complained About Us redness or itchiness in their eyes.
